    Thank you for Chicago!!!!
I miss hearing you on the morning show, so it was extra special to hear my favorite radio DJ doing a segment about my favorite band.

I’m 27 and was raised on Chicago’s music.
My dad and I flew from San Diego to NY to see them inducted into the Hall of Fame last year.
It was like our team had finally made it to the Super Bowl!! (I know you know that feeling with your Panthers)

I couldn’t believe it last year when you did interviews with Peter Cetera AND Robert Lamm.
I knew I had the right morning show when Todd Donoho suggested Chicago play the half-time show at Super Bowl. Mark in the Morning! Those were the days.

I thought I knew all there was to know about Chicago, and I learned new things from your show tonight. It was also my first time hearing ‘Harry Truman’ played on the radio!!
They get overlooked a lot, especially the first 11 albums.
I just loved hearing so much Chicago talked about, and played on the radio.

Thank you Mark. You made my night!

Mark – Used to listen to your podcasts of Cool Stories when you were living close by in the Lake Norman area. Have really missed hearing you since you relocated to LA and wondered if your program is available anywhere for rebroadcasting here on the east coast or in podcast form.

    Thanks.

I never was awake to listen but tonight I was fortunate. My calendar alarm reminded me of the show and I hit the jackpot. The Eagles were the topic. Thank you Mark for the wonderful work you do. I enjoy listening to you on the radio.

    Hello Mark,

I am, as well, a big George Michaels fan. My wife and I set our reminder bells on ours phones for Jan the 8th for you show and unfortunately a family emergency emerged at the time of airing the said show.

    We both were very disappointed.

I have, since been searching for a recording of it via web…youtube, 100.3 the sound website, etc. and to my demise, no luck.

Please tell us how we can listen to this. I find your presentations of just about everything you do, very informative, funny, and exciting.

    Please help.

    Thank you,

    John and Carmen

Loving Cool Stories in Music! I really appreciate the time you take to get these stories together. By the way, my favorite version of, Stand By Your Man, was in the Blues Brothers 😎. Can’t wait to hear more. Any Sieger or Clapton coming up? How about Frankie Lymon? Either way, Bitchin’ job Mark, thnx.

The one thing that I can count on is my Sunday nights with Mr. T — as in Thompson — as in Radio God of all things in the vocal arena.

Having these Sunday nights have become extra special to me because I love music so much and I have always loved how he presents these stories. I finish my work, grab my wine, get comfy and let it just flow over me. I swear I learn something that always puts me in the ‘what?’ zone. I’ve always thought I had a handle on music and all things artists, but nooooo. I truly have no clue and I get schooled proper.

Please don’t take my Cool Stories in Music away! EVER! 🙂
